They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

We would like to wish a Happy Birthday to young Adam on the Cornet who turned 16 yesterday. And well done for also coming to a concert on your birthday.

Our Musical Director, Stuart Cates was recently presented with a Civic Award to thank him for 66 years service leading the band. The award was presented by Neville Hudson (Our President in his local role of Chairman to the Parish Council).

Birchington Parish Council wanted to recognise people in the village that go above and beyond the call of duty. Winners were chosen by Parish Councillors for this first time event.

We thank you Stuart for all that you do for the Band.

Romain Ferlicot and Marc Jacob de Cordemoy both joined our cornet section for our short concert. Plaques were presented to both musicians, as well as their Musical Director, Grégory Louvion .
