Who Are We?
Birchington Silver Band is a local brass band as well as the official town band of Les Mureaux (France).
Get Involved
We practice at King Ethelbert School and have our monthly (September - May) concerts at The Centre, Birchington.
The band welcomes player of all abilities. We can offer lessons for youngsters and people wishing to take up playing. We can also give access to instruments and offer a warm friendly environment for all.
History
History
There are records showing that a brass band existed as far back as 1934. With several different name changes, 1951 saw the change to Birchington Silver Band.
